Support local families by turning out for this evening of uplifting music!

Talented performers join forces to fill the Marsh with jazzy holiday classics.

Local businesses have also provided a number of great prizes for a raffle draw.

All proceeds support the Beaver Valley Outreach Holiday Hamper program, and stay in your community with those who need it most.

A word from the BVO on thier Holiday Hampers:

The Hampers are one of BVO’s longest running programs.  The idea of the hampers is to bring some joy to individuals and families for whom this is a difficult time of year for various reasons.  Recipients register with Carolyn Letourneau, our Executive Director;  we also receive names from the churches, the schools and sometimes members of our community.

The information gathered includes the ages of children and their interests so that appropriate gifts can be provided (this information is kept very confidential, with only a few key people knowing the identity of the recipients).  The rest of the hamper contains gift cards (Foodland, Pharmasave) and packaged food, but also fresh fruit and vegetables, and Christmas treats.

The hamper is meant to take the worry out of the holidays and also to last well into January to help those families and individuals who are struggling.

As you can imagine, the number of hampers we prepare has grown over the years: last year we distributed 102 hampers.  It is sad that so many are in need, but good that we are able to help.

We anticipate that we will be distributing about the same number of hampers this year (they cost between $300 - $500 depending on the size of the family), so a fundraiser like the concert is extremely helpful, especially since our Treasure Shop has been closed for so long.
