At this event, we welcome Mary Hindle - Hamilton Firefighter - Event at LE Shore Library

Firefighter Mary Hindle began her career with Hamilton Fire in 2002 at age 22 and has since served in numerous roles, including firefighting, training, dispatch, apparatus driving, and first aid instruction. A key organizer of Hamilton’s Camp FFIT (Female Firefighters in Training), she has been a dedicated mentor, educator, and advocate for women in the fire service through her leadership within both Hamilton Fire and the Fire Service Women of Ontario (FSWO). In recognition of her lifelong commitment to mentoring, community service, and advancing women in fire services, she was awarded the FSWO 3E Award in 2020 for…
