Join us for:
- light hearted company in a small group
- fun, relaxed chair-based exercise led by Active Arts
- delicious lunch catered by a local restaurant
December 6 this lunch will be catered by Market on Marsh
- an engaging presentation, activity or interactive session led by a special guests, new each week
December 6 we will be visited by the St John's Ambulance therapy dog team. Local participants in thier program will talk with us about thier involvement, how they help people and everyone will all get some dog love.
This pilot program aims to combat isolation and loneliness among seniors in our communities. Together, we will create opportunities for connection, movement, learning and joy.
For our initial November 29 and December 6 dates, groups will be capped at 10 participants. Registration will be first come first serve; participants can register on a weekly basis and do not have to commit to multiple sessions at once.
We will evaluate our capacity for the program prior to the new year and add more spaces if possible.
