About the event
February 7's "Something Interesting" is authour Ken Haigh, who is a librarian and author of two books, Under the Holy Lake and On Foot to Canterbury. He is currently studying to teach English as a second language. Having lived in China, Bhutan, and on Baffin Island, Haigh lives on the shores of Georgian Bay in Clarksburg, Ontario. Ken will join us for a presentation following lunch.
Thornbury Bakery is catering for the month of February.
This pilot program aims to combat isolation and loneliness among seniors in our communities.
Together, we will create opportunities for connection, movement, learning and joy.
Join us for:
- light hearted company in a small group
- fun, relaxed chair-based exercise led by Active Arts
- delicious lunch catered by a local restaurant
- an engaging presentation, activity or interactive session led by a special guests, new each week

Note this February there is no session on Monday, February 21 - Family Day.
