Sweet Strings Ensemble - Patio
The Sweet Strings Ensemble is a program by the SweetWater Music Festival to give talented amateur string musicians an opportunity to learn from professional coaches and perform in the community. Numbering 22 in members in total, a number will be playing Patio on Sept 7th.

About the event
The Sweet Strings Ensemble is a program by the SweetWater Music Festival to give talented amateur string musicians an opportunity to learn from professional coaches and perform in the community. It began in February, 2025 with funding from an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. We currently have 22 members who meet every two weeks at the Meaford United Church.
A handful of these musicians will perform at the Marsh Street Centre patio on September 7th, and the entire ensemble will perform in a community concert at the Thornbury Library on October 16.
The SweetWater Music Festival showcases professional musicians from across Canada and beyond performing classical, jazz, and contemporary music. This unique annual event, held this year from September 16-21, treats audiences to outstanding performances in beautiful, rural settings in Owen Sound, Leith, and Meaford.
