Volunteer Recognition Breakfast

The Town of The Blue Mountains is pleased to announce the launch of a new annual Volunteer Recognition Awards event to celebrate and honour outstanding residents and organizations that have helped shape and build the community.

Taking place this year at the Marsh Street Centre on Saturday, April 30, this event is an opportunity for all to honour and recognize the many dedicated people who are giving thier time in service to the many causes in our community. 

The Town of the Blue Mountains has been accepting nominations for a series of volunteer recognition awards, which will be distributed at the event. The Town of The Blue Mountains recognizes and honours the achievements and contributions of community volunteers. These prestigious awards express Council’s appreciation of the many individuals and community groups who work to enhance the quality of life in The Blue Mountains.

Volunteers, their loved ones, and community members who would like to support them are warmly welcomed to enjoy a light breakfast while celebrating volunteerism in Town of the Blue Mountains. 

Local programs and organizations reliant on volunteerism are encouraged to share images and testimonials about their volunteers, which will be shared at the event.
