About the event

What is felting?

Felting is the process of laying out layers of wool, alpacha, silk, yarn, etc, and then applying heat, motion and moisture which causes the scales on the fibres to open, and agitating them causes them to latch onto each other, creating felt and a beautiful work of art!

Wendy Fifield is self-taught fibre artist. She has always enjoyed working with fabric and since the late 90's has been experimenting with different types of fibre and how they mesh together to form a piece of wearable and/or stand alone art.

Questions about the class please email wendyfifield@hotmail.com Phone 519-590-3208
