Read the Latest News About the MSC and our Community
The Board of The Marsh Street Centre (MSC) has been paying close attention to government and public health guidance over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. The recently reduced limit on private gatherings in Ontario clearly affects some events and programmes at the Marsh Street Centre, and the rising number of cases, across Ontario, is cause for renewed concern.
Given our resources and respect for the safety of our community, we have decided to restrict the size of all gatherings at the MSC to a maximum of 10 people effective immediately. This limit applies to all rental events as well as any Marsh Street Centre fundraising or community events. We have cancelled the Pub Night scheduled for this Friday and hope that people will understand that we have the safety of our members, visitors, and volunteers at heart.
We will continue to monitor all official guidelines and protocols, and look forward to the time when we can expand our operations again. Please continue to support the Marsh by volunteering, donating, or membership. When all of this is over, we hope to be back, stronger than ever, as the cultural heart of your community.
The MSC is a community owned, non profit organization that maintains and operates the historic Marsh Street Centre to foster performing arts and community events in The Blue Mountains. We rely on donors, sponsors and members to keep the Centre viable and available to all in the community.
