The Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg has been an integral part of our community for the past 93 years.  Twenty years ago a local group banded together to form the 'Marsh Street Community Centre' as a non-profit, charitable organization and embarked on a journey to develop an accessible space for local community events and the performing arts. 

 

Since then, the MSC has been the cultural and social hub of the Town of the Blue Mountains. It supports youth education programs such as Marsh Street Rocks and Marsh Street Acts, and seniors’ programs. The Centre has also become an active performing arts venue, showcasing local and Canadian live music from jazz to opera to rock and blues, as well as theatre groups and dance groups, and a wide variety of specialty performances.

 

Our historic facility requires constant maintenance, esthetic upgrades and structural improvements. The doors are kept open through generous donations, membership support and special fundraising efforts such as this Gala Vintage Vegas Casino evening.

With your support we can continue to strengthen the influence of the Marsh Street Community Centre in the area as the community and performing arts venue for families, children and seniors.  We hope you will join us on April 18th.
